Let's talk about "Flange Sizing"

Pumping should not hurt.

Many parents are not using the right sized flanges, which leads to pain/discomfort and lower output. More often than not, I am sizing people down. Only the nipple should be moving in and out of the pump tunnel. I've included a helpful graphic below!
